INSTRUCTIONS
Week 1
TASK 1 - TRENDING EXPERIENCE
"Identify what type of XR experience is AR or MR"
AR (Augmented Reality) is the integration is digital information with the user's environment in real-time, it is limited to no direct interaction between the digital and physical world components. AR can be easily accessible on smartphones and tablets without needing other specialised equipment.
MR (Mixed Reality) allows users to manipulate and interact with virtual objects and information. MR is harder to access because it requires a headset with a transparent lens or camera to create a more immersive experience.
"Imagine the scenario in either of the two places. what would the AR experience be and what extended visualization can be useful? What do you want the user to feel?"
It would be useful to have an AR experience at a shopping mall accessible through the user's phone. It would be useful if the AR showed a 3D model of the store's interior in the mall along with its information and location, guiding the user. Another way AR experience would be useful is to be used in the kitchen. It would be fun to be able to progress through the steps of a recipe through an AR experience. Projecting the recipe on the side and playing a step-by-step guild while the user progresses.
Week 2
The class was separated into 6 groups, 7 people per group, to make a Journey Map.

PROPOSALS
#1
| Proposal 1 |
The first proposal is about colour mixing, the app would teach users the basic knowledge of the colour they will get when certain colours are mixed. Users can mix up to three colours by using Red, Yellow, Blue, and White.
There will be a marker that the user needs to scan in order to start the game. In the game, there will be different modes that users can play. Learning mode will teach users the basics of colour mixing, Quiz will test the user's knowledge on colour mixing, Free mode lets the user explore other colours freely, and Colour page allows the user to colour pictures with the colour they mixed.
#2

| Proposal 2 |
There will be a Quiz about historical weapons for the user to attempt and aim for a high score.
#3
The third proposal is about the evolution of technology, the app would teach the users about how technology is different from not compared to the past. It would show the stages of the evolution along with the information. (Similar to proposal 2, the user has to scan a picture of the object and it would show a 3D model of it along with a Quiz for the user to attempt).
REFLECTION
For the first 4 weeks is where we get to know more bout the AR Experiences and how to create one on Unity. It was overall simple and straightforward, I says as I got stuck on the code for minutes to find out it was a spelling error that cause it to not work... But everything is working as it should now.
